Elevating Tour Tooltips with Your Brand's Identity

Personalize a tooltip to your preferences and save the styling as a theme. This theme can then be applied to other tours within the organization, ensuring consistency and a cohesive visual experience across all tours.

How it works:

  1. Customize the styling of the tooltip according to your preferences.

  2. Click on the icon located above the design-tool menu.

  3. Now, you'll be able to name the theme and choose to either save it or save and apply it.

If you have an existing tour in your organization, simply go to the tour editor, click on settings, and browse the relevant theme.

What's Included in Themes?

Demostack offers two generic themes: dark and light.
The default theme when creating a new tour is the dark theme.

When saving a theme, it will include settings for : shape, color, fonts, pulsing animation, and highlighting of the tooltip. However, it won't include settings such as the position of the tooltip.

Delete a theme:

  • Only an admin has permission to delete all themes, regardless of whether they are the creator of that theme.

  • An editor role will be granted permission to delete a theme only if they are the creator of that theme.

  • How to delete:  click on settings, then click on the themes dropdown, hover over the desired theme, and click on the more menu to select delete.

What happens to a tour that has an archived theme applied?

  • Any tour that was using a deleted theme will have a badge in the theme section indicating "this theme was archived".

  • The tooltips will still retain the same design, and nothing will be affected after the deletion.

Additional information:

  1. Any tour created before the themes feature was released will have a badge in the themes section indicating "no theme applied". Users can choose to keep their tours as they are or save one of the tooltips as a new theme.

  2. Any user with an editor role or above can create a theme.

  3. Themes should have unique names since they are saved on an organization level and can be applied to any tour.
