Database Editing with AI

Use AI Prompts to Link and Modify Data Categories Seamlessly

Why Use AI for Data Editing?

AI-powered database editing allows you to efficiently update values across your entire demo with a single prompt. This feature lets you define dependencies between data categories, ensuring your demo content is cohesive and tailored to your needs. Save time and achieve better results with this streamlined approach.

How to Use AI to Change Values

  1. Access AI Options:

    • Navigate to the header of a specific column representing a data category.

    • Click on the three-dot menu on the column header.

  2. Apply an AI Prompt:

    • Select the "AI" option.

    • Enter your desired outcome as a prompt.

How to Add Dependencies Between Data Categories

When applying an AI prompt to a single column, use "@" to link values across columns.

For example:

  • Scenario: Updating email addresses while maintaining dependencies on other columns.
  • Prompt:
"Change all values to emails. The domain should match the value from @Company name, and the name should be based on the value in @Contact name."

This generates new email values by combining data from the same row, ensuring that company names and contact names are reflected in the email addresses.

Other use cases include:

  • Localization: Ensure cities and streets align with countries.

  • Numerical Adjustments: Update numbers based on other parameters.

  • Conditional Updates: For instance, set the "access" parameter only for rows with an "admin" role.

Data Consistency Across the Demo

Changes to data categories will automatically reflect across your entire demo, including any tables referencing the same data category.

Reverting or Adjusting Changes

If you're not satisfied with the outcome, you can:

  • Revert the changes via the three-dot menu.

  • Apply a new prompt to overwrite the previous changes.

By leveraging this feature, you can easily manage data across complex demos while maintaining consistency and saving time.
