Permissions Required
Before you begin, ensure you have administrative access in both Demostack and HubSpot. This integration requires permissions to manage and access Deals within HubSpot, as user selections are based on Deals, not contacts.

Install the Demostack-HubSpot Integration
Note: Only Demostack Admins can setup this integration.

Verify User Permissions
Confirm that you have administrative privileges on both Demostack and HubSpot. These permissions are essential for completing the integration.

Navigate to Integrations
In Demostack, navigate to Organization settings page (cog icon in the upper right-hand corner), then select the Integrations tab.

Choose HubSpot Integration
Find the HubSpot integration tile and click on 'Connect'.

Authorize Demostack in HubSpot
You'll be redirected to HubSpot to authorize the Demostack application. Make sure you select the correct HubSpot account, then click 'Choose account” to provide Demostack the necessary permissions.

Confirm the Integration
Once you've authorized Demostack in HubSpot, you'll be redirected back to Demostack. You should see a confirmation message indicating that the integration was successful.
Logging Live Demo Calls to HubSpot Deals
This feature allows you to log live demo activities directly to associated Deals in HubSpot, creating a seamless record of engagement:
- Pre-Demo Selection: Before starting a live demo, presenters can select a relevant Deal from an auto-completing dropdown list within Demostack. This list is populated based on the Deals available in HubSpot, ensuring that demos are always linked to current sales efforts.
- Post-Demo Logging: Once the live demo concludes, Demostack automatically logs the event as an activity under the selected Deal in HubSpot. To maintain the integrity of your data and avoid logging test or dry runs, live demos must last longer than 3 minutes.
- Deal Selection Criteria: By default, presenters will see only the Deals they are associated with in HubSpot, streamlining the selection process and ensuring relevance. If a presenter isn't linked to any Deals, the presenter can select available Deals within the organization.
- Activity Details: The logged activity in HubSpot will include details such as the demo name, presenter's name, start and end times, session duration, the number of screens presented, and links to Demostack assets.
Salesforce and HubSpot Integrations Coexistence
For organizations leveraging both Salesforce and HubSpot within their sales and marketing ecosystems, Demostack offers a flexible solution to manage these integrations seamlessly. If you have already set up integration with Salesforce, you can still incorporate HubSpot and designate it as your default CRM system in Demostack. Here’s how you can manage this coexistence effectively:
- Begin by navigating to the Organization settings in Demostack. You can find this by clicking on the cog icon located in the upper right-hand corner of the Demostack interface.
- Once in the Organization settings, proceed to the Integrations tab. This section houses all available and active integrations linked to your Demostack account.
- Within the Integrations tab, locate the HubSpot integration tile. Click on the "manage" option to access the integration settings.
- You will see an option to toggle the CRM selection. Activate this toggle to designate HubSpot as your default CRM system.
