What are Tags?

Using Workspace Tags in Demostack

Tags are a powerful feature that allows users to filter and organize workspaces by specific keyword values. By classifying a workspace with one or more tags, you can streamline the process of managing and sharing folders across multiple workspaces, as well as track demo analytics for a group of workspaces.

Tags are particularly useful for customers managing channel partner teams. For example, a tag can represent a specific geographical region, such as "EMEA." This makes it easy to share all relevant assets with the EMEA team with a single click.

Creating and Managing Tags

To create or update tags in Demostack, you need to have admin privileges. Here’s how you can manage tags:

  1. Navigate to Workspaces Page: Go to the specific workspace page or the all workspaces page.
  2. Access the Action Menu: Click on the action menu of a specific workspace instance.
  3. Select “Manage Tags”: Choose the "Manage tags" option from the menu.

By following these steps, you can easily add new tags or update existing ones.

Benefits of Using Tags

  • Efficient Organization: Easily classify and filter workspaces.
  • Simplified Sharing: Share folders and assets with groups of workspaces using tags.
  • Enhanced Analytics: Track demo performance and impact on win rates for tagged workspaces.
  • Team Management: Effectively manage channel partner teams by grouping them with relevant tags.
